Job summary

The Hartlepool CAMHS Getting More Help Team is seeking a Senior Clinical Specialist and experienced CAMHS Non-Medical Prescriber to lead advanced prescribing for ADHD in children and young people with complex needs. You will independently assess, diagnose, initiate and manage treatment within a recovery-focused, trauma-informed service.

Qualifications

• Comprehensive biopsychosocial and mental health assessments for children and young people with complex presentations.
• Independent assessment, diagnosis, initiation, titration and review of ADHD medication.
• Advanced prescribing leadership and governance within CAMHS.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex clinical decisions for pharmacological and non-pharmacological interventions.
• Provide supervision and professional leadership to nursing and prescribing colleagues.
• Support service development, quality improvement and governance across CAMHS.
