Job summary

Matchtech Group client in Manchester is seeking a Senior CAD Technician to support infrastructure projects in the water and civil sectors. The role offers hybrid working for the right candidate and starts December or January for contract delivery.

You will produce and update detailed Civil 3D drawings, interpret engineering designs and collaborate with engineers and stakeholders to ensure accuracy and timely project delivery from concept through construction.

Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in Civil 3D and computer-aided design software.
• Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach to design documentation.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Produce and update detailed civil drawings using Civil 3D.
• Prepare technical drawings for water and civil engineering projects.
• Interpret engineering specifications, surveys and design information.
• Collaborate with civil engineers, designers and project stakeholders to develop accurate drawings.
• Check drawings for accuracy, compliance and consistency with project requirements.
• Maintain drawing registers, revisions and associated technical documentation.
• Support the delivery of projects from concept through to construction.
