Job summary

Matchtech Group is seeking a Senior CAD Technician in Manchester to support infrastructure and utilities projects. The role offers hybrid working and starts in December or January.

You will produce and update detailed civil drawings using Civil 3D, collaborate with engineers and designers, and ensure accuracy and compliance with project requirements. The successful candidate will have significant CAD experience in civil engineering or water sectors, strong Civil 3D skills, and a methodical

Qualifications

• Significant experience as a CAD Technician in civil engineering or water sector.
• Strong proficiency in Civil 3D and CAD software.
• Good understanding of civil engineering principles, infrastructure design and standards.
• Experience producing accurate 2D and 3D drawings for engineering projects.
• Ability to interpret engineering designs, specifications and survey information.
• Strong attention to detail and methodical design documentation.

Responsibilities

• Produce and update detailed civil drawings using Civil 3D and CAD software.
• Prepare technical drawings and plans for water and civil projects.
• Work from engineering specs, surveys and design information.
• Collaborate with civil engineers, designers and stakeholders to develop drawings.
• Check drawings for accuracy, compliance and project requirements.
• Maintain drawing registers, revisions and technical documentation.
• Support delivery of projects from concept to construction.
