Job summary

Equans Sci-Tech is recruiting a Senior CAD/Revit Technician to join the team based in Manchester/Motherwell. You will produce and maintain BIM/drawings to support design and construction across data centres, pharmaceutical clean rooms, and process engineering projects.

The ideal candidate will have proven AutoCAD/Revit experience, strong IT skills, and the ability to work with minimal supervision while ensuring accuracy and safety in all deliverables.

Qualifications

• Strong IT skills including Microsoft packages.
• Proven experience with AutoCAD/Revit.
• Ability to solve technically challenging problems.
• Ability to communicate and hold technical conversations, internally and externally.
• Be a self-starter and able to work with minimum supervision.
• Take responsibility for deliverables.
• Be organised with meticulous attention to detail.
• Commercial awareness.
• A degree or HND / HNC in a Construction or Engineering discipline.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and issue drawing and modelling documentation based on specifications.
• Ensure drawings are complete, detailed and error-free.
• Create, adapt and amend CAD/Revit designs.
• Collaborate with team and check own work and others' work.
• Follow company standards, processes and procedures.
• Visit sites to gain practical insights and apply to designs.
• Ensure work is completed to a high standard and safety is considered.

Equans Sci-Tech is recruiting for a Senior CAD/Revit Technician to join the team based in Manchester/Motherwell. The Senior CAD/Revit Technician will work on projects within the fields of Data Centres, Pharmaceutical / Clean Room Environments, Process Engineering & Industrial Works. The successful Senior CAD/Revit Technician will produce and maintain building information models/drawings to assist in the overall design and construction process. Working with some of the industry’s most talented people, the Senior Technician will have skills in the design process and will work on exciting projects for the company.

What you will deliver?

• Preparing and issuing all relevant drawing and modelling documentations for projects based on given specifications and calculations.
• Exercise the skill, care and judgement to be expected of an experienced engineering technician to ensure the drawings you are responsible for are complete, correctly detailed and free from error.
• Create, adapt and amend existing CAD/Revit designs that need editing.
• Work closely with the rest of the team on projects and take responsibility for checking your own work and work produced by others.
• Work to company standard and adhere to processes and procedures.
• Visit sites as required in order to gain practical experience of installation practices and apply these to improve design effectiveness.
• Ensure work is completed accurately and to a high standard.
• Ensure Health & Safety is considered throughout all duties.
