Job summary

Stantec in Reading, UK, seeks an experienced CAD and GIS Technician to produce, manage and coordinate high-quality drawings for geotechnical and geoenvironmental deliverables on major infrastructure projects.

You will work with engineers to develop site layout plans, hole location plans, utility drawings and cross sections, maintaining CAD standards and ISO 19650 data environments, and contributing to CAD/GIS workflow improvements.

Qualifications

• HNC/HND or degree in CAD, Civil Engineering, Geomatics, Surveying, GIS or related field.
• Several years of experience and expert AutoCAD with Civil 3D proficiency.
• Strong understanding of geospatial data, ISO 19650 and common data environments.

Responsibilities

• Produce, manage and coordinate high-quality drawings for ground investigation deliverables.
• Develop site layout plans, hole location plans, utility plans and cross sections.
• Maintain drawing registers and CAD standards; support geotechnical/geoenvironmental projects.
