Senior CAD Designer

Key information:

• Location: Stavanger
• Duration: 12 months
• Start date: ASAP
• Contract opportunity

A client in Stavanger is looking to bring in an experienced CAD Designer / Draftsman to add value to their existing project team. The specific focus for this project-based role will be Deep Water SURF installations, seas fastening, rigging, and all associated CAD support.

The candidate will ideally be located in Stavanger, with some flexible working arrangements, but due to the nature of the project, they should be office-based most of the time.

This position is with a busy EPCI client, and longevity beyond the initial 12 months is expected. An attractive hourly/daily rate is on offer.

Responsibilities:

1. Lift rigging sketches
2. Seafastening drawings
3. Fabrication drawings
4. Deck layouts
5. Quay layouts
6. Storyboards (e.g., structure lifts, installation of flexible products, tie-ins of subsea lines operations, platform riser pull-ins, mooring operations)

Requirements / Necessary Experience:

• 4+ years relevant CAD design experience
• Residence in Stavanger/Oslo or eligibility to live and work in Norway
• Experience with AutoCAD, 3D Civil, and Inventor software
• Proficiency in 3D modeling and 2D fabrication drawings
