Job summary

Oxford Knight is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to contribute to a high-performance trading and settlement platform, with remote flexibility across the City of London and broader UK. You will design and implement backend systems, build order routing algorithms, and connect to liquidity providers.

The role emphasizes end-to-end responsibility, strong communication, and collaboration to deliver fast, reliable solutions in the evolving digital assets space.

Qualifications

• 3+ years' experience in software engineering
• B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science or related field
• Strong background in building and working with complex backend systems
• Experience in financial technology, with crypto and/or traditional financial know-how a strong plus
• Experience building trading systems for traditional markets is preferred but not required

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of the full development lifecycle from product and design to deployment and monitoring
• Design and build order routing algorithms and connect to liquidity providers
• Develop position management and risk systems and perform performance tuning
