Job summary

Oxford Knight seeks a DevOps/High Performance Trading Systems Engineer to join a dynamic quant trading team in London. You will collaborate with traders and technologists, owning trading and operational issues and the deployment process for production trading, aiming for fault-tolerant and scalable systems.

Required strong Python and Linux skills, plus C++/SQL knowledge; ability to drive multiple projects to completion and diagnose complex performance challenges.

Qualifications

• Strong Python and Linux skills with some C++/SQL knowledge preferable.
• Solid debugging skills in code development and infrastructure.
• Good instincts on performance versus simplicity trade-offs.
• Comfortable taking ownership of projects and driving multiple initiatives to completion.
• Degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent work experience).

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with traders and technologists to own trading and operational issues.
• Oversee deployment processes for production trading to ensure fault tolerance.
• Develop and maintain a complex Python infrastructure and related tooling.
