Job summary

Oxford Knight seeks a Senior Software Engineer to join the Post-Trade Engineering team in London. You will own end-to-end platforms, tackle distributed systems challenges, and contribute across Operations, Treasury, Risk and SRE.

Applicants should have 5+ years of professional software experience with Java and/or Python, strong CS fundamentals, and excellent collaboration skills to thrive in a world-class, tech-driven environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Hands-on development in Java and/or Python.
• Strong fundamentals in OO design, concurrency, distributed systems, and system design.
• Experience building and owning production software.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and operate mission-critical software platforms across the post-trade lifecycle.
• Own end-to-end software systems in a distributed environment.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams across Operations, Treasury, Risk and SRE.
• Work on high-scale systems processing millions of transactions daily.
