Job summary

C&D Talent Advisory - Academy is seeking a Senior C++ Low-Latency Developer for remote work across the UK, Netherlands or France on a 12-month contract. You will design and build high-performance trading infrastructure, tackling latency, networking and concurrency challenges in a sophisticated financial environment.

You'll own architecture through testing and production deployment, with hands-on leadership in a technically demanding role and potential conversion to permanent by mutual agreement.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of professional C++ engineering experience.
• Production experience building low-latency systems.
• Strong knowledge of C++17/20 and modern fundamentals.
• Solid understanding of algorithms and data structures.

Responsibilities

• Design and build low-latency distributed systems for financial market data.
• Develop performance-critical components using modern C++.
• Own architecture, testing, and deployment.
• Build systems for high-throughput and latency-sensitive workloads.
• Optimize CPU, memory, networking, and concurrency.
