The candidate will tackle latency, networking, concurrency, and distributed systems challenges in a senior hands-on capacity, with potential for permanent conversion by mutual agreement.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of professional C++ engineering experience.
• Genuine production experience building low-latency systems.
• Strong knowledge of C++17/20 and modern C++ fundamentals.
• Experience with high-throughput financial market data systems.

Responsibilities

• Design and build low-latency distributed systems for financial market data.
• Develop performance-critical components using modern C++.
• Own architecture, implementation, testing, optimization, and deployment.
• Build systems supporting high-throughput and latency-sensitive workloads.
• Optimize application performance across CPU, memory, networking, and concurrency.
• Work with TCP, UDP, multicast, messaging, queuing, and Pub/Sub architectures.
