Job summary

TechTree is seeking a Senior C++ Low-Latency Developer to design and build high-performance trading infrastructure. This fully remote role spans the UK, Netherlands, or France.

You will own architecture through testing and production deployment, tackle latency, networking, and distributed-systems challenges, and contribute to greenfield market-data systems on a 12-month contract with potential conversion.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of professional C++ engineering experience.
• Production low-latency systems experience.
• C++17 or newer, with C++20 strongly preferred.
• Strong CS fundamentals and knowledge of algorithms/data structures.
• Experience with high-performance or distributed systems.
• Networking knowledge and latency optimization experience.

Responsibilities

• Design and build low-latency distributed systems for market data.
• Develop performance-critical components using modern C++.
• Own architecture, implementation, testing, and deployment.
• Build systems supporting high-throughput and latency-sensitive workloads.
• Optimize performance across CPU, memory, networking, and concurrency.
• Collaborate with stakeholders throughout the development lifecycle.
