TrueNorth® is seeking a Senior Full Stack Developer to design, build and support cloud-native applications using .NET, React and Azure. You will take ownership of complex development work, contribute to technical design and help other developers deliver secure, reliable software.

The role is mostly remote with visits to the Manchester or London office once every two weeks, and you must be eligible for UK SC clearance to work in secure enterprise environments.

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Full Stack Developer to design, build and support cloud-native applications and business solutions using .NET, React and Microsoft Azure. You will take ownership of complex development work, contribute to technical design and help other developers deliver secure, reliable software.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain full-stack applications using C#, ASP.NET Core, React, TypeScript and Azure.
• Build secure, scalable REST APIs and cloud-native backend services.
• Develop workflow applications, operational portals and intuitive user interfaces.
• Integrate applications with Azure services, enterprise platforms and third-party APIs.
• Implement event-driven solutions using Azure messaging technologies.
• Own development tasks from design through implementation, deployment and live service support.
• Contribute to solution architecture, technical design and code reviews, applying engineering standards and SOLID principles.
• Support CI/CD pipelines, cloud deployments, Docker-based delivery and Infrastructure as Code.
• Monitor and troubleshoot production applications, improving reliability, performance and maintainability.
• Collaborate with delivery colleagues and stakeholders, and mentor less experienced developers.

Essential skills and experience

• C# and .NET, including ASP.NET Core, for enterprise application development.
• React and TypeScript for building usable, maintainable front-end applications.
• REST API design and development, SQL Server and Entity Framework.
• Practical experience with several Azure services: App Service, Functions, Service Bus, Azure SQL, Storage, Microsoft Entra ID, API Management, and Azure Monitor and Application Insights.
• Azure DevOps, Git, CI/CD pipelines and Docker, with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, Bicep or ARM.
• Strong software engineering fundamentals, including SOLID principles, secure development and maintainable design.
• Experience delivering enterprise-scale, cloud-native applications within Agile multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong problem-solving, communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Proven experience independently delivering complex application features and contributing to technical design decisions.
• Experience reviewing code, sharing engineering knowledge and supporting other developers.
• Microservices and event-driven architecture.
• RabbitMQ or Kafka.
• Power Platform integration.
• Automated testing.
• Experience working in secure enterprise environments.
