Job summary

Hunter Bond is seeking exceptional C++ Software Engineers to join its engineering team. You will design, develop and optimise high-performance C++ systems, build scalable infrastructure and tackle complex, distributed, low-latency software across a global technology environment.

You will work on production-critical, multi-threaded platforms, driving architectural decisions and owning projects through the full SDLC in a fast-paced, world-class trading setting.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of commercial software engineering experience.
• Modern C++ (C++14/17/20) expertise.
• Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms and object-oriented design.
• Deep knowledge of multithreading, concurrency and asynchronous programming.
• Experience on Linux-based environments and systems programming.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and optimise complex, high-performance C++ systems.
• Build scalable, low-latency and highly reliable software infrastructure.
• Engineer sophisticated distributed systems and multi-threaded applications.
• Develop core platforms, frameworks and tooling used across a global technology environment.
• Drive architectural decisions and influence the design of mission-critical systems.
• Tackle challenging problems around concurrency, memory management, performance optimisation and system efficiency.
• Take ownership of projects throughout the full software development lifecycle, from initial design through to production.
• Collaborate with some of the strongest engineering talent in the industry.
