Job summary

DCV Technologies in the United Kingdom is recruiting a Senior Software Engineer to join an established engineering software team developing software for advanced maritime navigation, surveillance and radar systems. This is a hands-on C++ role across the full SDLC.

You will design, implement, test and maintain software, provide technical guidance, and collaborate with customers and suppliers on software-related matters, contributing to sophisticated product engineering.

Qualifications

• C++ programming and hands-on SDLC experience required.
• Strong software design and verification capabilities.
• Proficient written and verbal English communication.
• Degree in Software Engineering, CS, EE or related field.

Responsibilities

• Specification, design, development, implementation, testing and maintenance of C++ software.
• Taking responsibility for software design through to verified delivery.
• Software testing, verification and problem solving throughout the lifecycle.
• Providing technical support to less experienced engineers.
• Acting as a technical liaison with customers, suppliers and collaborators.
