Job summary

Morson Group is recruiting a Senior Buyer - Technology to manage a technology portfolio worth around £60m, handling software, SaaS and strategic IT services. You will lead negotiations with top technology providers and partner with senior stakeholders across a complex organisation.

The role offers autonomy, exposure to strategic initiatives and a procurement leadership team that empowers you to own decisions and deliver commercial impact.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience working within the Technology category including experience negotiating complex software contracts is essential.
• Strong experience facing into multi stakeholders and comfortable influencing senior stakeholders is essential.
• Experience working within a regulated environment i.e procuring under PA23 and or PCR-2015 would be advantageous.
• Ideally MCIPS qualified or working towards.

Responsibilities

• Manage technology portfolio worth circa £60m including software, SaaS and IT services.
• Lead high-value negotiations with technology providers such as SAP, Microsoft and ServiceNow.
• Partner with senior stakeholders across a complex, fast-paced organisation to influence decisions.
• Drive procurement strategy with autonomy and measurable commercial impact.

Morson are partnering with a major organisation to support the recruitment of a Senior Buyer - Technology position.

This is an exciting opportunity to manage a technology portfolio worth circa £60m, covering software, SaaS and strategic IT services. Youll lead high-value negotiations with some of the worlds leading technology providers, including SAP, Microsoft and ServiceNow, while partnering with senior stakeholders across a complex, fast-paced organisation.

The role offers genuine autonomy, exposure to strategic business initiatives and the chance to work for a procurement leadership team that empowers individuals to take ownership, influence decision-making and deliver meaningful commercial impact.

Key Skills, Experience & Qualifications:
