Job summary

Liberty Recruitment Group are seeking a Senior Buyer to join a well-established international organisation’s UK team in London. You will lead sourcing and supplier management, working with internal stakeholders to deliver commercially focused procurement solutions.

The role is based in London with occasional travel and offers up to GBP60,000 plus strong benefits. You will operate within an international procurement function, driving cost savings and supplier performance across the UK.

Qualifications

• Experience as Buyer or Senior Buyer or similar procurement role.
• Strong sourcing, supplier management and commercial negotiation experience.
• Experience purchasing technical products or services advantageous.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong organisational skills with ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Experience using SAP would be advantageous.
• Comfortable working autonomously as well as collaborating within a wider international team.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with wider business objectives.
• Identify, evaluate and onboard new suppliers.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing suppliers.
• Manage supplier performance across quality, service, responsiveness and commercial agreements.
• Partner with internal stakeholders to understand requirements and develop effective sourcing solutions.
• Lead sourcing and tendering activity from initial requirement through to supplier selection.
• Work collaboratively with supplier risk teams to ensure appropriate due diligence and risk assessments are completed.
• Proactively identify and deliver cost savings and procurement efficiencies.
• Produce procurement reporting and management information for senior and international stakeholders.

Working as part of an international procurement function, you will take ownership of sourcing and supplier management activity within the UK, partnering closely with internal stakeholders and suppliers to deliver commercially focused procurement solutions.

Based in London with occasional travel required, you can expect a salary of up to GBP60,000 plus some amazing benefits.
