This leading retailer is looking for a Senior non-food buyer to manage a key category in driving NPD and creating a compelling product range, this is initially on a fixed term contract for 12 months
• Working closely with the Merchandising, Design and Quality teams to move into new product categories and improve current ranges.
• Managing the day-to-day range development including sample development and selection
• Completing sales analysis using market and customer insight data to inform buying decisions
• Sourcing, developing and growing the product range
• Defining the pricing and promotional strategy for the category
• Achieve commercial results in line with the category targets, maximising revenue and margin
• Completing UK and EU travel throughout the year for trade shows, comp shopping and supplier visits
• Liaising with e-commerce team and consulting on content and photography
