Job Description:

This leading retailer is looking for a Senior Non-Food Buyer to manage a key category, driving NPD and creating a compelling product range. This is initially a 12-month fixed-term contract.

• Working closely with Merchandising, Design, and Quality teams to expand into new product categories and improve current ranges.
• Managing daily range development, including sample development and selection.
• Using market and customer insight data to inform buying decisions through sales analysis.
• Sourcing, developing, and growing the product range.
• Defining pricing and promotional strategies for the category.
• Achieving commercial results aligned with category targets to maximize revenue and margin.
• Traveling within the UK and EU for trade shows, competitor shopping, and supplier visits.
• Collaborating with the e-commerce team on content and photography.
