The role offers progression and training with CIPS development support. The role sits in a diverse engineering environment delivering turnkey solutions from concept to completion, with salary guidance in the £50k-£60k range plus company

Qualifications

• Experience in procurement or buying within engineering/industrial sectors.
• Background in supply chain activities across major projects.
• Experience with UK and international suppliers.

Responsibilities

• Support estimating, sales and project teams with supplier pricing.
• Source, obtain and assess quotations from UK and international suppliers.
• Procure subcontract packages, materials, plant and equipment.
• Manage procurement across multiple packages from routine to high-value.
• Negotiate pricing, terms, delivery and supply agreements.
• Ensure suppliers meet technical, quality, safety and programme needs.
