Job summary

Ernest Gordon Recruitment Limited are recruiting a Buyer (Manufacturing/Engineering) in Dungannon to own end-to-end purchasing, source materials, negotiate with suppliers and maintain BOMs, ensuring materials are available for production.

You will collaborate with production, stores, quality and management, enjoy a stable full-time role with training, progression and overtime to boost earnings, and work Monday to Thursday 8am-5pm and Friday 8am-2pm.

Qualifications

• Background as Buyer or similar in manufacturing or engineering.
• Commutable to Dungannon.
• Experience with procurement and supplier management.

Responsibilities

• Source and procure materials and services to support production.
• Negotiate pricing, lead times and delivery schedules for best value.
• Maintain accurate Bills of Materials (BOMs) and purchasing records.
• Manage purchase orders, goods receipts and related processes.
• Collaborate with production, stores and quality teams to ensure material availability.
• Support procurement strategy and continuous improvement projects.
