Position:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior M&E Buyer to join our Procurement and Supply Chain Team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the procurement of mechanical and electrical materials and services, ensuring timely and cost-effective acquisition to support our projects.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Procurement Management: Oversee the end-to-end procurement process for M&E materials and services, ensuring compliance with company policies and project requirements.
2. Supplier Relations: Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, negotiating favourable terms and ensuring high-quality standards.
3. Cost Control & Analysis: Conduct cost analysis, identify savings opportunities, and contribute to procurement strategies that enhance efficiency across the organization.
4. Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to understand project needs and ensure procurement aligns with project timelines and budgets.
5. Market Research: Stay updated on market trends, new products, and emerging technologies in the M&E sector to inform procurement decisions.

Requirements:

Qualifications and Experience:

• Proven experience in a procurement role within the Mechanical & Electrical sector.
• Strong negotiation skills and supplier relationship management experience.
• Excellent analytical and cost management skills.
• Familiarity with procurement software and tools.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
