A great opportunity with a global high street name undergoing a period of change. This role offers involvement in a range of diverse projects across various indirect categories.

Our client is an established household name operating across multiple global locations, currently experiencing exciting changes.

They are seeking a Senior Buyer to join their team, focusing on indirect categories.

We are looking for a proactive team player who enjoys engaging in various tasks as needed.

The main purpose of this role is to ensure all GNFR contracts across the group are cost-effective, appropriate, flexible for future needs, simple, and enforceable with clear KPIs.

Experience in buying IT, Marketing, Travel, FM, or logistics is desirable.

Contract drafting experience is essential.

Senior Buyer Main Responsibilities:

1. Lead negotiations for contracts of all sizes and support complex contract negotiations.
2. Continuously reduce and control annual spend across the group.
3. Provide commercial, contractual, and negotiation support.
4. Manage contractual relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders during the contracting process.
5. Prepare and review contract schedules to manage workload timelines.

Key Skills / Competencies / Qualifications:

1. Strong commercial contract and negotiation skills.
2. Experience in contract law and drafting.
3. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
4. Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams at an intermediate/advanced level.
5. Ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
6. Ability to meet tight deadlines.
7. High attention to detail.
