Job summary

Hunter Selection is seeking a Senior Buyer in Cwmbran to source and manage suppliers for direct and indirect goods, driving cost savings and efficiency. The role requires strong negotiation, contract management, and supplier relationship skills.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years in procurement, a relevant degree, and ERP/Power BI experience, with a hybrid work pattern offering two days from home.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain management, or a related field (preferable).
• Minimum 5 years of experience in procurement and inventory management.
• Certification in procurement (e.g., CIPS, CPSM).
• Experience with ERP systems and Power BI.

Responsibilities

• Identify and evaluate potential suppliers for indirect/Direct goods and services.
• Develop and implement sourcing strategies to achieve cost savings and efficiency.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers.
• Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing with suppliers.
• Monitor supplier performance and address any issues related to quality, delivery, or service, implementing SLA
