Job summary

Perk is seeking an experienced Senior Business Travel Consultant to join our Birmingham-hub team on a flexible, family-friendly split shift. The role is fully remote with occasional in-person days at the Birmingham Hub, designed to accommodate schooling and daily life while maintaining full-time hours and pay.

You will manage complex business travel itineraries across Europe, handle bookings, amendments, and cancellations, and mentor junior colleagues.

Qualifications

• Expert knowledge of Galileo or Amadeus GDS systems and ticket reissuing.
• Proficiency in air fares and ticketing processes.
• Fluent English, both written and spoken.
• Strong organisational skills and ability to work under pressure.
• Professional telephone manner with client-facing confidence.
• Comfortable with a split-shift routine and flexible to pick up mid-evening.

Responsibilities

• Handle travel bookings, amendments, and cancellations for business travellers with high service quality.
• Arrange European and domestic travel including flights, car rentals, and hotels.
• Manage client communications via live chat, phone, and email.
• Work autonomously on client inquiries and maintain GDS queues.
• Mentor junior team members and quality-check their work.
• Develop client relationships throughout the travel lifecycle.
