Job summary

Perk is seeking an experienced Business Travel Consultant to join our Birmingham-hub team. The role is fully remote with occasional in-person training at the Birmingham Hub and a split shift designed to fit around family life.

You will handle bookings, amendments, and cancellations for business travellers, coordinating European and domestic trips and communicating across chat, phone, and email. GDS systems knowledge and English fluency are essential.

Qualifications

• Expert knowledge of Galileo or Amadeus GDS systems, including ticket reissuing.
• Proficiency in air fares and ticketing.
• Previous business travel consultant experience.
• Fluent English (written and spoken).
• Strong organizational skills and ability to work under pressure.
• Professional telephone manner and client-facing confidence.
• Comfortable managing a split-shift routine and picking work back up mid-evening.

Responsibilities

• Handle travel bookings, amendments, and cancellations for business travellers with a focus on quality service
• Arrange European and domestic travel including flights, car rentals, and hotels
• Manage client communications via live chat, phone, and email
• Work autonomously on client enquiries and maintain GDS queues
• Mentor junior team members and quality-check their work
• Develop client relationships throughout the travel lifecycle
