Your role in our mission…
We’re seeking a Senior Business Manager to join our team in the north of England.
This is an exciting time at Marie Curie as we enter a phase of change, collaboration, and partnership with other organisations to enhance access to a better end-of-life experience. We are developing a deeper understanding of the specific needs of different communities and regions, based on public health needs, community assets, and untapped resources.
You will serve as the commercial expert for your designated area in the UK, providing advice and support to the Associate Director on all aspects of business development and management, including intelligence gathering, proposal and tender development, and lifecycle contract management.
You will collaborate with health and social care sector commissioners to establish effective relationships, maximize income from existing and new services, and foster service innovation. You will be supported by 1-2 Business Managers, depending on your assigned area.
This role directly contributes to Marie Curie’s growth through managing proposals, tenders, and funding applications, following standard processes for business case development, contract approval, and risk assessment. Application Process
Salary: £43,250 - £48,048, depending on skills, knowledge, and experience (MCJES Grade F)
Contract: Permanent
Location: Flexible throughout Yorkshire, North East, and North West England. The role includes regional travel and home-based work.
