Headquartered in Guangzhou, China, it has laboratories and offices across Guangzhou, Beijing, Shanghai, and California, USA, employing over 1,000 people worldwide. The company operates in over 30 provinces in China, the US, and Europe. The ideal candidate will oversee business development activities and drive sales, playing a key role in generating new business and managing marketing and customer service activities.

Responsibilities
  • Prospect and leverage potential new business opportunities within the UK market;
  • Develop business and regulatory plans for the UK, achieving operational objectives;
  • Identify opportunities from marketing leads, and manage local business partnerships;
  • Report market information to headquarters promptly;
  • Collaborate with other departments to establish operational processes for the UK;
  • Enhance brand awareness of the company and its products in the UK;
  • Provide excellent customer service with prompt solutions to inquiries.
Qualifications/Skills
  • At least 2 years of experience in business development or sales in molecular pathology or IVD related markets;
  • BS or MS in Life & Science, Molecular Pathology, or Clinical Medicine; MBA or PhD is a plus;
  • Good knowledge of the local molecular pathology market; international and multicultural experience preferred;
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills;
  • Strategic and creative thinking with attention to operational details;
  • Energetic with motivation to find new business opportunities quickly;
  • Knowledge of selling imported products in Europe;
  • Fluent in English; proficiency in German is a plus.
