Senior Business Development Manager / Director

Location: Manchester City Centre, Piccadilly (near Ducie Warehouse/Dakota)
Industry: Recruitment Consultancy – working with growing clients across Manchester & North West
Company: MANCHESTER STAFF (Part of the UK Staffing Group Limited)

Salary: £35,000 - £50,000 basic + Uncapped Commission + Benefits

On Target Earnings & Progression:
Year 1 – Business Development Manager - £80k+
Year 2 – Senior Business Development Manager - £90k+
Year 3 – Associate Business Development Director - £100k+
Year 4+ Business Development Director - £120k+
Year 5+ Managing Director Level - £150k+

We have a proven training & development system which gives you the blueprint to success in recruitment. You’ll work closely with our MD building your own client base across Manchester and the North West.

Job role: Your role will be to win new business and build long term partnerships with growth companies across the region. You will be exclusively working with clients, (not candidates) and have direct support from a team of talent acquisition specialists that will support you to source candidates for your clients. Your role will be a mixture of phone, virtual meetings, face to face meetings and networking.

Experience Required:

  • Minimum 2-3 years in a previous client facing role
  • Recruitment / Talent Industry experience highly beneficial
  • Other service selling industries considered
  • B2B experience essential
  • Telephone experience essential
  • Strong track record of acquiring new business clients
  • A deep understanding of the sales process
