Role Overview

The IUF Group are expanding their capabilities into the corporate market.

The Business Development Director for this company oversees all accounts and sales opportunities relating to Unified Communication/Meeting Spaces within the IUF group, this involves creating and driving the company sales strategy, bringing new clients to our group, expanding the existing client base for corporate markets, and maintaining supplier relations to promote partnerships.

The role expectation is the candidate has extensive experience in the industry and can bring impact from day one.

Role Responsibilities

  • Design and execute brand strategy and vision
  • Enhance and build out the corporate sales vision and strategy that supports the overall group business goals and objectives to expand into this market.
  • Be accountable for communicating the UC vision within the business.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices, identifying opportunities for innovation and competitive advantage.
  • Ensure CRM opportunities are up to date.
  • Carry out company sales outreach
  • Attend industry events
  • Focus on new client relationships
  • Enhance current client relationships.
  • Follow up on business development outreach team results
  • Work with growth team to enhance campaigns
  • Competitor analysis for pricing and products
  • Solution development and innovation
  • Ensure solutions are scalable, secure, and meet performance requirements, while aligning with business objectives and customer needs.
  • Lead and oversee the entire solution development lifecycle, from concept and design to implementation, testing, and deployment.
  • Ensure compliance from internal Design teams to new and existing signed-off solutions.
  • Technical Sales ownership from customer point of view.
  • Build strong relationships with customers .
  • Lead non-technical customers/stakeholders via clear articulation/distillation of relevant, complex technical information to ensure deeper project or solution understanding by the client.

Person Specification

  • 10+ Years experience within the UC Meeting Room Space
  • Proven track record of closing over £2mil revenue of corporate business per annum.
  • Experience with IT policy (ISO aligned) to understand corporate customer needs.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Problem-solving skills and a passion for innovation.
  • Experience delivering company strategy
  • Loves a fresh challenge to grow new department, startup/agile mentality – with Group support.
  • London based and enjoys collaborative office-based work.
