This Senior Business Development Executive opportunity sits in a leading UK law firm and will come into support the strategic growth of the Healthcare practice group. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a high-performing Business Development & Marketing team, where you’ll work closely with senior stakeholders to shape and deliver business plans, deepen client relationships, and drive new opportunities across the NHS and independent health sectors.

You’ll collaborate with a Clients & Markets Manager and another Senior Executive to support two of the firm’s key Market Focus Groups. Your work will directly contribute to enhancing the firm’s profile, reputation, and client engagement in a fast-evolving sector.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the development and implementation of strategic business plans for NHS and Independent Health & Care groups
• Collaborate on key account planning and relationship management for top clients
• Organise and follow up on business development meetings and initiatives
• Conduct client and market research in partnership with internal and external teams
• Deliver targeted marketing campaigns and sector-specific events
• Produce thought leadership, client publications, and marketing collateral
• Create compelling proposals, pitch presentations, and contribute to formal bids
• Support legal directory and award submissions
• Manage CRM data and mailing lists to support targeted outreach
• Build peer-level relationships with clients, intermediaries, and industry groups
• Provide internal reporting and contribute to departmental projects

What We’re Looking For

• Experience in business development or marketing within a professional services environment
• Health and care sector knowledge is a plus, but not essential
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Commercially astute with a client-focused mindset
• Highly organised and able to manage multiple priorities
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, CRM systems, and digital marketing tools
• Degree or equivalent professional experience
