Job summary

PIMCO Europe Ltd. in London is seeking a Senior Business Analyst for the Regulatory Technology team to drive analysis and delivery across MiFID II, EMIR, SFTR and other global regimes.

You will partner with Regulatory Operations, vendors, and engineering to translate regulatory obligations into business requirements, create specifications, and support testing and production issue resolution. This role emphasizes end-to-end accountability and process improvement.

Qualifications

• Experience gathering, documenting, and validating business and functional requirements.
• Experience facilitating discussions with business and technology stakeholders.
• Experience supporting software development lifecycle.
• Experience in regulated financial services environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead key workstreams in a multi-year program to modernize PIMCO’s global regulatory transaction reporting platform.
• Translate regulatory obligations, operational processes, and reporting needs into business requirements and acceptance criteria.
• Create process flows, workflow documentation, data mapping artifacts, and supporting analysis materials.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to support implementation of new capabilities and enhancements.
• Develop test scenarios, test cases, and validation approaches; coordinate testing activities.
• Lead production issue triage and incident resolution; track errors and remediation plans.
• Support planning, stakeholder communications, and executive updates for business leadership.
