Job summary

PIMCO is seeking a seasoned Business Analyst to join the Regulatory Transaction Reporting Technology team in London. You will partner with Regulatory Operations and vendors to translate regulatory obligations into detailed requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria, while supporting testing and production issue resolution.

You will lead end-to-end analysis across MiFID II, EMIR, ASIC, MAS, SFTR, and other regimes, helping to deliver modernized reporting solutions and AI-enabled

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 7+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or similar in financial services tech.
• Experience gathering, documenting, and validating business requirements.
• Experience facilitating stakeholder discussions.
• Experience supporting SDLC initiatives.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Familiarity with regulatory reporting regimes (MiFID II, EMIR, SFTR, etc.).
• Experience in regulated financial services environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead workstreams to modernize regulatory transaction reporting platform.
• Translate regulatory obligations into requirements, specs, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Create process flows, data mapping artifacts, and business rules.
• Collaborate with engineering across the SDLC to implement capabilities.
• Develop test scenarios and validation approaches for changes.
• Coordinate testing with stakeholders and production support.
• Support release validation and post-implementation verification.
• Lead production issue triage and remediation planning.
