Overview

Key Responsibilities
  • Proactively support the Transportation Services Manager and Regulation Manager in assessing the requirements of all statutory, legislative and regulatory obligations of the Phoenix Energy distribution business and to assist in the development of appropriate business solutions to ensure compliance.
  • Develop positive and constructive relationships, and to represent Phoenix's interests, with key stakeholders including the Utility Regulator, Consumer Council for Northern Ireland, gas suppliers and other network operators.
  • Actively support the highly complex design, implementation, testing, trialling, and rollout of a new pay-as-you-go gas metering solution to provide accessible and flexible services for Northern Ireland's gas distribution network operators, gas suppliers and gas consumers.
  • Support the progression of Phoenix Energy's 'Pathway to Net-Zero' through the delivery of renewable gas solutions.
Essential Education
  • Graduate from a numerate, business, legal, or other analytical related discipline with relevant business experience

OR

  • Significant experience in the gas industry
Essential Experience
  • Significant experience in a relevant commercial environment.
  • Experience in the management and delivery of key business projects
  • Experience in managing business relationships and stakeholder engagement.
  • Experience of computer modelling of business activities including developing business solutions using Microsoft Office products, particularly Microsoft Excel.

  • Hours of work are Monday to Friday (no contractual weekend work).
