Senior Business Analyst, Institutional Banking & Distribution, Business Development

We are seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst to support our business development efforts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the Head of Wholesale Banking & Financing Solutions and Deputy Head of Institutional Banking & Distribution in driving business strategy in Sub-Saharan Africa.
• Manage existing African FI relationships and enhance profitability in line with the Bank’s risk appetite and strategic goals.

Key Skills/Experience:

• Experience supporting Relationship Managers in achieving departmental budgets.
• Ability to drive business origination and client onboarding.
• Proficiency in preparing credit applications and financial statement analysis.
• Knowledge of KYC/KYB processes and compliance requirements.
• Experience monitoring financial reviews and managing client portfolios.
• Understanding of UK regulatory environment and international trade finance.
• Experience in the African market and French language skills are advantageous.
