Job summary

Proactive Appointments is seeking a Business Analyst for a permanent role in Taunton, Somerset. The position offers a hybrid arrangement with 2–3 days on-site per week and a salary of £35,000 to £45,000 per annum.

You will translate strategic objectives into actionable requirements and collaborate with stakeholders and IT teams to deliver projects. The ideal candidate will have a BA Diploma or equivalent, strong SQL and database knowledge, and solid experience with Agile methods.

Qualifications

• Holds or is committed to achieving a Business Analysis International Diploma or equivalent.
• Solid understanding of relational databases; able to interpret and write SQL.
• Familiar with Agile (Scrum/Kanban) and best practices through training or certification.
• Strong verbal and written communication for documentation and stakeholder engagement.
• Excellent attention to detail and prioritisation under deadlines.
