Job summary

Alfred H Knight is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to join the IT team in Prescot, Liverpool. The role focuses on leading analysis across global change initiatives and shaping technology solutions.

We offer a dynamic hybrid working environment with three days in the office and two days working from home, plus opportunities to mentor colleagues and partner with senior business leaders and third-party suppliers.

Qualifications

• Comprehensive BA methodologies knowledge across waterfall and agile environments.
• Full software lifecycle understanding from discovery to deployment.
• Strong process modelling, data flows, and integration awareness.
• Ability to collaborate with architects, developers, data engineers and security teams.
• Ability to challenge stakeholders and drive clear requirements.
• Excellent workshop facilitation and interview skills.
• Self-managing, delivery-focused with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Lead analysis across IT and business change initiatives.
• Define complex problems and design technology solutions.
• Mentor and uplift other Business Analysts and templates.
• Collaborate with senior leaders, IT partners, and suppliers.
• Own discovery, workshops, requirements mapping, UAT support, and go-live readiness.
