Job summary

Alfred H Knight seeks a data-focused IT Business Analyst to join the Technology Delivery team at Prescot head office (Pegasus House). The role is on-site 3 days a week with up to 2 days remote, supporting a digital transformation centered on BI, data platforms, and data warehousing.

You will work across global operations with data engineers, BI developers and SMEs to own end-to-end requirement journeys, define KPIs, and shape data-driven improvements across 50+ countries.

Qualifications

• Proven experience delivering BI/analytics/data warehouse projects.
• Exceptional requirements gathering with KPIs and data definitions.
• End-to-end data flow documentation (source-to-target mappings).
• Experience with Agile and Waterfall environments.
• Strong workshop facilitation and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate workshops and interviews with senior stakeholders to identify opportunities and capture requirements.
• Translate business needs into user stories, acceptance criteria, and backlog items.
• Model as-is vs to-be processes using BPMN/UML and perform data modelling.
• Collaborate with architects, data engineers and BI developers; lead UAT test scripting.
• Support business cases and feasibility studies for new technology initiatives.
