Join to apply for the Senior Business Analyst (Claims) role at Allianz UK.

In line with our global strategy and purpose, we have an exciting opportunity to join the UK Transformation Programme as a Senior Business Analyst on a 2-year Fixed Term Contract. The role involves shaping and implementing the target operating model for our Commercial business.

Role Description

The purpose of this role is to enable organizational change through specialized business analysis, change management skills, and a disciplined approach. You will support the Transformation Programme by articulating the need for change, defining requirements, and recommending solutions to maximize value delivery to our customers.

You will collaborate closely with key stakeholders across business and IT to contribute to a diverse portfolio of work, fostering effective relationships at all levels.

Salary Information

Circa £60,000 per year, based on experience, skills, and location. Salary is part of the total reward package.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Support the scoping of change initiatives within the Transformation Programme, using the Business Analysis Framework.
  2. Elicit, define, and manage business requirements with stakeholders at all levels, ensuring traceability.
  3. Ensure requirements are understood and approved, supporting change control and prioritization.
  4. Assist in development, testing, user acceptance testing, and implementation of solutions, working with solution partners and stakeholders.
  5. Participate in retrospectives, lessons learned, and knowledge sharing to learn from experiences.
Essential Skills
  • Passion for the BA role, with experience on change projects utilizing Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
  • Experience as a Business Analyst in the General Insurance Claims domain.
  • Ability to elicit comprehensive requirements and achieve stakeholder consensus using various analysis techniques.
  • Solid experience with Agile, creating Epics and User Stories using Confluence and Jira.
  • Understanding of Use Cases, Value Streams, and Personas.
  • Proficiency in industry-standard modeling techniques including data modeling and BPMN.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills.
  • Agile mindset with adaptability to business priorities.
  • Level education or equivalent.
Desirable Skills
  • BCS Diploma in Business Analysis or equivalent.
  • Experience in Commercial General Insurance.
  • Knowledge of Guidewire Claim Center.
  • Experience in defining requirements for system integrations.
