Job summary

SS&C Technologies is recruiting a Senior Business Analyst to lead Asset Management change initiatives in our EMEA practice. Based in Essex/London, you will drive discovery, define scope, and deliver detailed requirements for complex transformation programs.

You will mentor junior team members, facilitate workshops, and collaborate across business, technical, and client-facing teams to ensure regulatory and client expectations are met.

Qualifications

• Significant experience as a Business Analyst in complex transformation programs.
• Strong Asset Management domain knowledge is essential.
• Experience across Asset Management areas such as Trade Processing, Settlement, AML/KYC, Custody and Investor Servicing.
• Proficiency in BA methodologies across Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid delivery frameworks.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Self-starter with strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Commitment to continuous improvement, quality outcomes and business value.
• Comfortable adapting to evolving business needs and managing ambiguity.

Responsibilities

• Lead all analysis activities for assigned initiatives across the project lifecycle, with emphasis on Asset Management delivery.
• Support discovery and due diligence phases by defining scope and desired business outcomes.
• Elicit, document, and validate detailed requirements and user stories with traceability to objectives.
• Facilitate workshops and stakeholder meetings, clearly articulating business needs and solutions.
• Act as liaison between business stakeholders, product teams, architects and delivery leads.
• Identify impacts and support readiness activities for smooth implementation.
• Produce process maps, current/future state models and use cases aligned to governance.

The Opportunity

We are looking for a high-performing Senior Business Analyst to join our fast-paced transformation team, with a specific focus on Asset Management initiatives. This role offers the opportunity to shape high-impact change initiatives, influence product and service evolution, and ensure we deliver outcomes that meet both regulatory and client expectations.

What You Will Get To Do:

• Lead all analysis activities for assigned initiatives across the project lifecycle, with an emphasis on Asset Management client delivery and transformation.
• Support the discovery and due diligence phases of new initiatives, working with internal and external stakeholders to define scope and business outcomes.
• Elicit, document, and validate detailed requirements and user stories, ensuring traceability to business objectives.
• Facilitate workshops and stakeholder meetings, clearly articulating business needs and solution approaches.
• Act as the key liaison between business stakeholders, product teams, architects, and delivery leads.
• Identify operational, customer, and regulatory impacts, and support readiness activities to ensure smooth implementation.
• Produce high-quality deliverables (e.g., process maps, current/future state models, use cases) aligned to project timelines and program governance.
• (For Senior BAs) Mentor junior team members and contribute to the evolution of the BA Practice through knowledge sharing and support.

What You Will Bring:

• Significant Experience in a Business Analyst role , ideally within complex transformation programs .
• Strong Asset Management domain knowledge is essential.
• Experience across these areas within Asset Management is beneficial; Trade Processing & Settlement Cycles, Cash & Stock Reconciliation, Corporate Actions, Custody & Settlement Interfaces, Investor Servicing, AML/KYC, CASS, Distributions, etc.
• Proficiency in BA methodologies across Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid delivery frameworks .
• Excellent stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to work across business, technical, and client-facing environments.
• Confident facilitator and communicator-able to lead workshops, document clear outputs, and influence decision-making. Strong written and oral communication is a must.
• Self-starter with strong organisational skills, able to manage priorities in fast-paced, change-heavy environments.
