Understanding Recruitment Ltd is seeking a hands-on, process-focused Senior Business Analyst to support a systems transformation within a major infrastructure business. The role focuses on understanding whether proposed workflows will improve productivity, reduce administration, and cut costs as legacy systems move to a new platform.

You will map AS-IS and TO-BE processes, compare performance metrics, and produce an evidence-based impact assessment with a prioritised improvement roadmap.

Senior Business Analyst / Process Improvement

Start: late October / early November

I’m looking for a hands-on, process-focused Business Analyst to support a systems transformation within a major infrastructure business.

Before moving from a current legacy system to a new one, the business needs to understand whether the proposed workflows will improve productivity or introduce additional administration, complexity and cost.

You’ll:

• Map AS-IS and TO-BE processes, using models to facilitate meaningful stakeholder conversations.
• Compare transaction times, manual effort, approvals and resource requirements.
• Challenge inefficiencies and identify opportunities to simplify and automate.
• Produce an evidence-based impact assessment and prioritised improvement roadmap.

You’ll need experience personally delivering operational process reviews, strong workshop facilitation skills and the confidence to challenge stakeholders constructively. You should be comfortable taking ownership and working independently.

Lean / Six Sigma experience would be useful, alongside exposure to plant, fleet, equipment hire, utilities, construction or other operationally complex businesses.
