Our client, a leading financial services institution, seeks a Senior Business Analyst to bridge business needs and technology solutions in Randburg, Gauteng. This hybrid role offers collaboration both in the Randburg office and remote work flexibility.

You will elicit, analyze, document and manage business requirements for complex IT projects, translate needs into use cases and user stories, and support UAT and stakeholder communications throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Finance, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in the financial services or technology sector.
• Proven experience eliciting, documenting, and managing complex business requirements.
• Strong understanding of software development lifecycles (SDLC), particularly Agile methodologies.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Elicit, analyze, and document business requirements from stakeholders through workshops, interviews, and surveys.
• Translate business needs into detailed functional and non-functional specifications, user stories, and process flows.
• Facilitate communication between business stakeholders and technical teams to ensure clear understanding of requirements.
• Analyze current business processes and identify areas for improvement and optimization.
• Manage the requirements lifecycle, including prioritization, change control, and validation.
• Develop use cases, user stories, and acceptance criteria for software development.
• Assist in the planning and execution of User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
