We are looking for an experienced Senior Business Analyst with a thorough understanding of Investments and the ability to interrogate and understand data to join an expanding Investment Management Change Team based in London.

*PLEASE NOTE; Experience within investment management or investment operations is essential for this role *

This is a hands-on role and the ideal candidate will have a technical background that they are able to apply to solving business problems and the experience to lead others.

This is a permanent position paying an annual salary up to £120,000. There is an excellent company benefits package that includes a highly attractive bonus scheme, impressive company pension, private health care, and various other perks!

Currently, the Company is managing a large programme of change work. Candidates with the right skillset will be able to get involved in other strategic projects such as a business transformation, performance and automation across support teams.

The successful candidate will be leading a team of Business Analysts, providing guidance on best practices, documentation standards, and analytical techniques.

• You’ll oversee the creation and maintenance of consistent, high-quality documentation, including business requirements, process flows, and user stories, ensuring alignment with organisational standards.
• Define and manage test strategies, including the creation of test plans and scripts, coordinating UAT activities, and ensuring comprehensive requirements traceability.
• Collaborate with Investment Operations, Investment Management, DevOps, and Client teams to deliver changes within our governance framework.
• Document the current state, propose outcomes, and design target operating models that support new platforms and processes.
• Define and design simple, automated, and resilient solutions where possible.
• Provide strategic input into business transformation and automation initiatives, influencing stakeholder decisions and ensuring alignment with broader organizational goals.
• Plan, prepare, and oversee testing, transition, and implementation phases for key initiatives.
• Act as a senior point of contact for complex stakeholder engagements, supporting escalation management and resolution.

We’re seeking a Senior Business Analyst that has the following attributes;

• Proven experience as a Senior Business Analyst or equivalent leadership role within investment management or investment operations.
• Strong knowledge of investment products and operations, including fixed income, derivatives, equities, and ETFs.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor a team, establish and maintain documentation and analysis standards, and drive continuous improvement across the BA function.
• Strong analytical skills, particularly with IBOR (Investment Book of Record) and ABOR (Accounting Book of Record).
• Solid understanding of test management, including designing test plans, scripts, and coordinating UAT.
• Good knowledge of Excel and ability to query SQL Server using SSMS.
