National Highways has an excellent opportunity for a Senior Business Analyst to join our Digital Services team. As a Senior Business Analyst, you will support and advise the business, programmes, and projects throughout the business change lifecycle, ensuring that change initiatives align with business objectives, strategy, and enterprise architecture.

You will leverage your comprehensive business knowledge and experience to assess and advise on the feasibility of proposed options for business and technical change. You will also advise senior stakeholders on the relevance of business change priorities within the wider organisational strategy and objectives. Additionally, you will support and manage junior team members and third-party suppliers.

Please note this is a hybrid position, based from any of our UK offices, with travel to Birmingham for team meetings required.

• Work with stakeholders to develop accurate, traceable requirements, understanding and analyzing business objectives, data, and processes, ensuring benefits are captured and tracked.
• Challenge business objectives to ensure delivery results meet quality standards and risks are minimized.
• Use tools and techniques to model and analyze complex processes, identifying digital opportunities to optimize processes.
• Identify and prioritize opportunities for improvements and efficiencies, maximizing value from services.
• Communicate clearly and regularly with stakeholders, clarifying needs and impacts, focusing on user needs.

About you.

• Expert in Business Analysis within programme and project delivery, and continuous improvement.
• Proficient in data modeling tools (manual or automated) such as class diagrams and relational data models.
• Strong analytical skills to process and explain large data sets, using appropriate tools.
• Understanding of development methodologies (Agile, SCRUM, Waterfall, V-Model) and DevOps.
• Highly proficient in MS Office suite.
