You and your role
Day-to-day you'll do the Senior BA work that you recognise, leading business analysis activities within your project areas.
You know which tools and techniques to use to identify improvements and make recommendations. You will communicate across senior technical and business stakeholders ensuring the understanding of requirement and acceptance criteria is aligned.
What might surprise you is the scale and impact here. You'll work on large, complex products or services, or across a number of products or services simultaneously. You'll work with non-hierarchical, agile multidisciplinary teams who are all driven to deliver excellence for the users at the sharp end of DWP services.
You will lead workshops, interviews and focus groups to translate business and user needs to effective products and services for our colleagues and customers.
And you'll have a chance to share your skills. You'll manage our junior BAs, develop your leadership skills, and pass on your knowledge and experience to the BA leaders of the future. You will also support recruitment for your area as we grow our BA community for the future.

Location: You'll join us in one of our brilliant digital hubs in Birmingham, Blackpool, Leeds, London, Manchester, Newcastle or Sheffield, whichever is most convenient for you.
Hybrid Working: We work a hybrid model - you'll spend some time working at home and some time collaborating face to face in a hub.
Pay: We offer competitive pay of up to £66,058.
Pension: You'll get a brilliant civil service pension with employer contributions worth 28.97%.
Holidays: A generous leave package starting at 26 days rising to 31 days over time.
