Base pay range

Job Title: Senior Building Surveyor - South & West

Location: South & West (covering the South West of England and Wales). Flexible home and office-based.

Salary: £54,000 to £56,000 per annum (based on 35 hours/week)

Contract: Permanent

Role overview

Responsible for maintaining and developing the estate's built environment across your region, working closely with the Property team and stakeholders to deliver projects related to repairs, improvements, and development.

Qualifications

• Construction or Surveying qualification e.g. MCIOB, MRICS, or qualified by experience.

Key responsibilities

• Develop relationships with operational teams to strategize and deliver property projects.
• Understand stakeholder needs to provide suitable property solutions.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and budget.
• Manage procurement processes, financial approvals, and oversee contractors.
• Lead and support the building surveyors team.
• Maintain budget control and report to management periodically.

Candidate requirements

• Essential: Construction or Surveying qualification, experience with property databases, knowledge of legislation, energy management, leadership experience, project management skills, ability to produce reports, valid driving license.
