Job summary

Bromsgrove District Council and Redditch Borough Council are seeking a Senior Building Surveyor to join their Property Services team in Redditch. You will lead maintenance programs, ensure statutory compliance and manage a team of maintenance and technical staff.

The role requires a degree in Building Surveying and substantial post-qualification experience in a commercial or public sector environment, with strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• Degree in Building Surveying is required.
• Substantial post-qualification Building Surveying experience.
• Knowledge of building contracts, procurement and statutory regulations.
• Experience with condition surveys and defect diagnosis.
