Job summary
Bromsgrove District Council and Redditch Borough Council are seeking an experienced Senior Building Surveyor to lead the delivery of a broad capital programme across Bromsgrove and Redditch. You will manage a diverse portfolio from public buildings to historic properties, providing professional surveying expertise and project leadership.

Qualifications
- Degree in Building Surveying with significant post-qualification experience delivering capital projects and maintenance programmes.
- Strong knowledge of construction, procurement, statutory compliance, CDM Regulations, Health & Safety and Building Regulations.
- Experience of historic buildings and public sector property management would be advantageous.
Responsibilities
- Lead delivery of the ambitious capital programme across Bromsgrove and Redditch.
- Manage a diverse portfolio of projects including operational/public buildings, investment assets, historic properties and regeneration schemes.
- Prepare specifications, develop designs, manage procurement and contractor performance, oversee budgets and programme delivery.
