Job summary

Bromsgrove District Council and Redditch Borough Council are seeking a Senior Building Surveyor to join the Property Services team in Worcestershire. You will lead reactive and planned maintenance, ensure statutory compliance, and provide expert advice across the two councils’ estates.

You will have a Building Surveying degree with substantial post-qualification experience in a commercial or public sector setting, and you will manage a small multi-disciplinary team to deliver high-quality

• Degree in Building Surveying with substantial post-qualification experience in commercial/public sector.
• Confident, proactive building surveyor with strong communication and organisational skills.
• Experience managing a small multi-disciplinary team and maintenance/repairs.

• Lead delivery of reactive and planned maintenance programs.
• Manage statutory compliance, condition surveys and defect diagnosis.
• Prepare specifications and tender documentation; supervise contractors.
