Job summary

Girling Jones Ltd. Exeter is seeking a Senior Building Surveyor to join a collaborative team delivering a mix of education, commercial, retail and care projects across the South West. You will own projects from brief to completion with client liaison, while maintaining high standards and professional integrity.

Qualifications

• MRICS status required for senior level.
• Proven experience in professional building surveying and project delivery.
• CAD proficiency; Revit experience advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a broad range of professional building surveying services.
• Lead refurbishment, improvement and asset management projects.
• Manage projects from initial brief through design, procurement and delivery to completion.
• Act as lead consultant and key client contact.
• Prepare specifications, reports and technical documentation.
• Undertake contract administration and project management duties.
• Coordinate internal disciplines and external consultants.
• Ensure projects are delivered safely, compliantly, on programme and to a high standard.
